![]() Fish Photo Caption This class emphasizes mathematical reasoning, problem solving, and real-world applications using numerical, algebraic, and graphical models. Topics include problem solving techniques, algebraic expressions, polynomials, linear equations, linear inequalities, linear and nonlinear graphs, systems of linear equations in two variables, integer exponents, proportions, and radicals. You need to spend at least 10-15 hours a week outside of class studying the material and doing your homework. 4 hours a week must be spent in the Math Center for the 16 week class and 6 hours a week for the 11 week class. Don't get behind in my class! If you are confused please come see me for help, or go to the Math Center or Library for tutoring. If you keep up in class and do your homework you will succeed in this course. |
