Need a math essay to make it through the day? Ivars Peterson (math editor of Science News) has a wonderful collection: Mathland Archives

If you're interested in cellular automata, you should take a serious tour of: Exploring the Space of Cellular Automata  This site has excellent on-line tools for analyzing a variety of cellular automata.

There is a growing interest in flashing ratchets, Parrondo's Paradox, etc. An excellent simulation of Brownian ratchets can be found at Brownian Motors .
